TSOA’s Master of Science (MS.Arch) in Design-Build is a new 1.5-year (3-semester) post-professional MS.Arch program that engages the School’s unique approach to hands-on learning and material experimentation, situated within our stunning campuses at Arcosanti and Cosanti. The program offers a 36 credit hour, post-professional degree that is open to all students holding a professional degree in architecture, such as a B.Arch, M.Arch or equivalent degree. The curriculum incorporates new courses and studios specific to the MS.Arch track, along with shared courses between the two programs (MS.Arch and M.Arch) with an emphasis on construction knowledge, sustainability in the built environment, architectural fabrication and a research driven approach to material experimentation. Central to the MS.Arch program is a design-build studio project at a collective scale.
