We are organizing a 4-week international architectural workshop during 2025 winter in Phoenix, Arizona, at two locations: Cattle Track Art compound and Taliesin West.
At Cattle Track, a historic art village, participants will engage with resident artists, explore experimental architecture, and use spaces like woodshops and galleries. Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home, provides an immersive environment where students will learn about his design philosophies and the integration of architecture with nature.
The first three weeks focus on analyzing the environment and materials at Taliesin West, as well as historical and contemporary case studies on public space, architecture, and landscape. Students will use these insights to develop rapid design concepts.
The final week includes visits to the Grand Canyon National Park, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Arcosanti, Paolo Soleri’s experimental architectural village, exploring the harmony between the evolution of classic and modern design, also the relationship of Desert, Human, Architecture.
